A beautiful decorative and collectible dining accessory. 4 etched glass bottles (oil/vinegar/condiment). Original Rogers & Bro Triple Plate silverplate caddy. Marked on base: Rogers & Bro. Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear to silverplate (light tarnish and surface wear consistent with age). One bottle has a small hairline chip/flea bite on the rim (see close-up photo). This listing is for a vintage silver-plated collapsible cup or shot glass by Wm. Rogers, dating to the early 1900s-1910s. The cup is housed in its original stitched leather travel case and features a classic hammered pattern with a curved handle. Standing Mirror with Cherubs. Rogers Silver Plate Co. This beautiful silver plate standing mirror features two cherubs with wings leaning on their elbows. All in cast relief, they are accompanied by floral patterns and lovely bird. The mirror is removable from the metal frame, and has a beveled edge. On the bottom back it is marked Rogers Silver Plate Co. This particular company was founded in 1870, originally operating Brooklyn, NY as NB Rogers Silver Plate Co. Size: 7 by 10 inches. Nice Original Condition, finish to silver plate has minor wear, beveled mirror intact with some wear to back bottom, standing arm working and intact but slightly askew, mirror is removable, see photos. Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for an unusual antique silverplated bride’s basket with an amethyst glass base. Elaborately hand painted with Mary Gregory decoration. The decoration features three children appearing to stand on a cloud with a bird in a flower decorated tree hand painted in white on an amethyst glass base. This decoration is known as Mary Gregory glass which was popular in the last quarter of the 19th Century. The stand is also elaborately decorated with paneled sides with applied leaves and berries mounted at each corner. The swing handle also has a paneled design and mounts on two sides onto an ornately pierced decorated attachment. The basket sits on four large feet decorated with the same design as the handle mounts and also has a molded acorn at each corner. Measures 3 1/4″ high (at sides), 9 1/2″ high (with handle upright) and is 9 3/4 square. The Mary Gregory decorated glass base measures 6 1/2. Weighs 4.2 pounds. This lovely bride’s basket is in excellent Estate condition with only a couple of noted specifics. The silverplated frame has natural aged patina and we are leaving it as found without polishing. There are two nicks/cuts on the top edge (see photos) and the amethyst glass base insert has been re-caulked on the underside to hold it securely in place (see photos). The listing is for an aesthetic silver plate frame, manufactured by Wm. Rogers Silver Company and a cranberry thumbprint glass pickle caster insert. The frame features a floral design on each side and a swing handle which can be raised to stay in the upright position of folded down. The insert features a thumbprint design on cranberry glass. Condition: The silver plate frame is in good condition as shown. There are no monograms, dents or visible repairs. The cranberry glass insert is also in good condition with no discoloration to the glass. There are no chips or cracks to the glass and only a flea bite to the top rim as shown in pictures 8 and 11. The cover is not original to the glass insert. Size: It stands about 10 inches tall and measures 6.5 inches wide at the widest point. Set of antique cranberry glass shakers and a salt cellar on a Rogers & Bro. The shakers date to the same time period and have pewter two-piece tops, a cylinder shape with a small shoulder. They stand about 3 1/2 each. One has a thumbprint pattern (outside) while the other has an inverted thumbprint (IVT). The salt cellar is a small oval shape and appears to be ruby glass. The stand is stamped with the Rogers & Bro. Makers’ mark and “Triple Plate” plus 3832. The stand has a simple round handle and beautiful metal work on the three compartments for the glass inserts. It also sits on three very small swans as feet, which is a great touch. Was formed in Waterbury, CT in 1858 by Asa Jr. It became part of the International Silver Company in 1898.
