Up for your consideration this Vintage 1940s DeLuxe Silver Plated Flatware Set of 40, Precious Pattern by? ROGERS? (International Silver Company) in very good condition for the age. The handle of one of the knives slightly bent at the very end, other than that and few scratches here and there no major issues found. 6 iced tea spoons. Precious flatware line introduced by? ROGERS? (International Silver Company) in 1941. The International Silver Company was founded in 1898 through a merger of several smaller silver companies including Wm. Rogers, becoming a dominant U. It produced a wide range of goods, from flatware to hollowware, and played a significant role in supplying the military during World War II. The company faced decline in the 1970s, eventually becoming part of Insilco Holding Company in 1983 before closing its headquarters in 1981. I found no significant condition issues except mentioned above with this set, but signs of previous use and ownership should be expected consistent with its vintage timeline and should be taken into consideration with age and ownership.
