Silver Plate Rogers

This is an well made lovely antique W. Rogers silver plate serving tray. Light beautiful silver tray with darker edges/ rim. It is almost 30″ long (29 3/4″), with a width of 17 1/4. Some light scratches on the back. Will look great for holding whatso ever you may desire to use it for. This tray has some weight. Tray is more beautiful in person. Vintage WM Rogers Silver Plated Round Serving Tray/Platter Number 855. Vintage WM Rogers Plate#855 with decorative pierced edge and Acanthus leaves scroll pattern decoration in the center of the platter with roped edge. The bottom of the plate is inscribed with the (Eagle) WM. Rogers (Star) emblem 855. Note: the number 855 is visible but. Rogers (Star) emblem also there but faded from age and long time of polishing. This is the individual mark used on coin and silver spoons (Hartford, CT, 1825 – 1841). From 1878 to 1893 the mark was used in silverplate flatware by Simpson Hall, Miller & Co under permission of William Rogers JR. This mark continued to be used until 1976 in silverplated flatware. In good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The silver is bright and shiny. All imperfections are age related and we found a small dent in one corner. Please look at the pictures. WM Rogers Oval Silver Plate Serving Platter / Decorative Tray. Gorgeous and intricate WM Rogers oval handled silver plate tray or serving platter in great vintage condition with no deep scratches, dents, cracks, repairs of major loss of plating. There are some imperfections consistent with age, wear and use. Please refer to all pictures. This piece displays beautifully and would be an amazing addition to any collection. It has a stunning braided edge and the handles are intact and have not been repaired. It is approximately 20 1/2 inches long from handle to handle and is marked on the underside. Does not come with the original packaging. Please review all photos thoroughly and carefully as they are an integral part of the description. All items come as is and are in vintage condition. Beautiful silver plated footed oval tray by 1847 Rogers Bros in the “Reflection” pattern! This ornate tray features an interior etched design and floral scrolled designs on the rim. A heavyweight tray in a very lovely smallish size… Perfect for use as a vanity tray, small bar tray or tea service. In very good vintage condition, minor tarnish. 1881 Rogers 1930′s “Croydon” Pattern Silver Plate Butler’s Serving Tray – This beautiful silver plate tray is in great condition. It is somewhat tarnished, but it still has its luster and shine. It is quite difficult to find. It’s dimensions are 19.5 in X 14 in X 1.5 in. And built to last. It is very sturdy tray. I did wash this item, but no chemicals were used to clean it. Silver Plate Butler Large Ornate Serving Tray By. 1847 Rogers Bros Pattern : REMEMBERANCE. Vintage 1950′s large ornate silver plate heavy rectangular butler tray with two handles, consisting of ornate embossed and with four ornate feet as you can see from the photos. There is a patina of faint scratches consistent with careful use over the decades. There are no monograms, and the pattern is crisp and well defined. It might need a little polishing.
