This wonderful Victorian serving piece has a cherub pulling a floral decorated cart on a very ornate stand / base showing animals, birds, cherubs etc. This also retains the original etched glass bowl that fits tight and snug. I believe it is in very good condition but naturally has been used and enjoyed over 140+ years and shows normal age evident wear being tarnished and some plate loss. This is a beautiful antique Rogers & Bros tripleplate metal scalloped dish. The silver plated dish has a cherub on end and is raised on tripod acanthus decorated legs. This has been dated to 1890 to 1910. Underneath the bottom of one of the legs it is stamped Roger & Bros Tripleplate 122 and has the hand with bolts of lightning logo. For its age it is in very good condition. I want to note that it does look like the cherub was holding something in his hand. There is also a hole underneath where his legs are crossed. There is patina as well. The cherubs head stands at 8.5 inches. The dish is also 8.5 inches long 6.5 inches wide at the widest part. The feet at the base are 6 inches apart. Cherub Horn Of Plenty Victorian Silverplate Center Piece Rogers Bros 1880s Antique. We are listing a very pretty and unusual victorian antique silverplate center piece with a angel / cherub horn of plenty figure. This was made by the rogers bros silver co. This has the original horn decoration. This is very dirty and needs a very good polishing job. There are remains of old silver polish in a few spots. There is no damage to the castings. You could use this for other things, display pedestal, jewelry shelf or a business card holder. The size is 10 tall to the top of the horn. Width and depth is 9 by 9.
