This is a Lovely Shine Antique Victorian Rogers Silver Quadruple tilting water pitcher with stand and goblet, likely from 1800s. There is a beautiful pattern in the both sides of the stand and the pitcher. It has designed to tilt forward and pour water or tea into the goblet that sits on the part of stand. Rogers Silver Quadruple is stamped at the bottom of the pitcher. The pitcher sets firmly in the stand so you can pour. The goblet stand is not straight. The condition is very good, No scratches or marks. It seems the goblet stand is welded and disconnected in one side. The goblet rim has slight bend but does not affect the shape. I try to give you more pictures than the words to describe it. See the picture please. Pitcher 13 inch tall by 91/2 inch wide. The stand is approx. 20 inch tall x 10 inch wide. 1st c1857 until they merged with Rogers & Bros. On August 12th, c1862. The design on the stand is the most unusual we have had and features a sea of coral surrounding a conch shell and sea weed on the base and the finish on the top of the stand resembles water with a crab in the center. The coral is so realistic you can almost imagine that it would be pink. We believe that there would have been a clear glass plate on the top which would allow the details on the top to be viewed through the glass. There are no monograms or visible repairs and the silver plate is lovely and over 140 years old. It stands about 7.5 inches tall and 9.5 inches wide measuring across the handles. The indention for holding a glass plate or the rim of the plate is 7 1/8 inches wide and the height of the lip is ABOUT 3/8 inches tall. Please ask questions or request additional pictures. This is a definitely a one of a kind and you wont find another. Rogers Silverplate Cranberry Sugar Caster Bowl Spooner with 12 Spoons. Beautiful details and motifs…. Marked under lid: J. Made in USA, Quadruple plate. Circa late 19th century to early 1900′s. Measures 9 inches total height. 8 1/2 inches total width handle to handle. Cranberry thumbprint glass insert measures 2 1/2 in. High by 4 1/2 in wide (has small rim chip see close up picture). 12 spoons each marked Pat 1904 WE Rogers (see picture) spoons are not original to the sugar caster but are very nice spoons that compliment the piece. Each spoon has a script monogram “C” on the handle. Spoons measure 5 3/4 in long. No issues noted to the frame, only a very tiny minimal amount of wear to silverplate nothing that stands out, no dents etc. Use pictures as further description. Please remember that vintage items and antiques will show some type(s) of wear and may have minor imperfections they have acquired through enduring time. Antique and vintage pieces are not new and may show wear and distress from age and use, this only adds to the items’ charm and character. This is a 1926 antique Victorian relish, caviar or sugar serving castor made by Rogers Silver Co. Pieces like this are hard to find! The bottom of the silver lid has Rogers Silver 1926. The castor features a stunning thumbprint blue glass insert. The silver plate, handled base has intricate designs throughout, from the shelled feet to the egret/stork adorned legs. The floral ivy decorated rim has notches for 12 spoons (not included). As can be seen in the pictures, this piece is in excellent condition for its age. As to be expected, there are a few tiny chips and flea bites on the rim of the insert, but they do not detract from the beauty of this piece, as the lid covers them. Some use similar pieces as covered sugars. So, whether you intend to use it for either relish or sugar or decide to simply display it, it’s sure to be a showstopper.
