Silver Plate Rogers

I haven’t been able to find another. Signed on the reverse. Such an usual piece. See pictures for details and dimensions.

This is the individual mark used on coin and silver spoons (Hartford, CT, 1825 – 1841). This mark continued to be used until 1976 in silverplated flatware. The bottom of the plate is inscribed with the (Eagle) WM. Rogers (Star) emblem 170.

In good condition – Spot on bottom.

Flower and filigree accent the edges of the tray with engraving in serving area. Center area is left blank but could be personailzed. IS is for International Silver. This tray is heavy and very solid.
