This flatware is in great vintage condition. Last cleaned in 1997. It is silverplated & all pieces were stored in plastic bags, not the case (I put in the case just for the pictures). Includes the following pieces (74 total). (2) Regular Serving Spoons. (1) Slotted Serving Spoon. (2) Smaller Forks – maybe for appetizers? (1) Meat Serving Fork. (1) Fancy Spoon – maybe sugar spoon? These were my mother-in-laws, she put CAMPHOR (see last picture) in with them, which must’ve been like mothballs they used to put in closets that made your clothes stinky! Anyhow, this case smells like this stuff, even though I’m trying to air it out, it may still reek of it & I want you to know!

Here are some signs of normal wear including fine scratches on the surface of the pieces, most noticeable on the larger serving pieces. There is one dinner fork that has deep scratches on the tines as if cut by a sharp knife. Dents or cracks and very little, if any, tarnish.

Each piece has a degree of patina. A few have a lot. Each piece is marked except for the Dinner Butter Knives, which have a stainless steel blade and silver plated handles.
