1865 ROGERS SMITH & CO. MERIDEN VICTORIAN AESTHETIC ROCOCO TEA COFFEE SET. Organized in 1857 by William Rogers Sr. The firm was merged in 1861 with Rogers Brothers Mfg Co under the presidency of William Rogers. The tools and the dies were bought in 1862 by Meriden Britannia Co transferring to Meriden the production of the 1847 Rogers Bros line under the direction of William Rogers. In 1863 Meriden Britannia Co bought the hollowware division. In 1865 the plating shop was transferred from New Haven to Meriden and merged with Meriden Britannia Co in 1866. Early aesthetic, set in good to very good conditions showing overall bright mirrored plating, no dents or monogram, there is no breaks or repairs, strong firm hinges, and complete insulators some signs of wear and use as pictured, the inside of both pots and slop bowl shows tear and wear, white metal base, perfect as display. Coffee pot 9 1/4″ by 8 1/2″ shy 2.9 lbs weight, Teapot 7″ by 8 1/4″, 1.8 lbs weight, sugar bowl/no lid, creamer and slop bowl.
Vintage, silver plate, tea set/ coffee service by FB Rogers Bros in 1960 pattern that has a hibiscus style accents. The set includes coffee pot, teapot, creamer, sugar bowl and waste bowl. This gorgeous set has hibiscus flowers on the finials, handles and spouts. Very unique and beautiful and in good condition! Measurements: approx Coffee approx 10 1/2″ tall x 11″ wide handle to spout, teapot 9 1/2″ tall x 10 1/2″ wide handle to spout, sugar bowl 6″ tall x 7″ wide handle to handle, creamer 4″ tall x 6 1/2″ wide, waste bowl 3 1/2″ tall x 4″ diameter. Marks: FB Rogers 1960. This set is in good, vintage, condition. May have typical signs of use such as light surface scratches, possible stubborn tarnish or polish residue. Beautiful 1860, 1870′s Rogers, Smith New Haven silver plate Tea, Coffee set The tallest pot is 7 3/4. I have been told this is a 2 people set! No damage to any of the pieces and no monograms. Since they all are matching I didn’t feel more photos were needed holler if you want any additional ones.

Footed sugar bowl measuring 5-5/8 and weight 1.9 pds. Footed creamer measuring 5-5/8 and weight 1.5 pds. Footed Short fat coffee/teapot marked Ballad Community measuring 6-3/8 and weight 2.4 pds. Princess House 450 Regency Silverplate missing plates weight 12 oz. All piece have been polished.
VINTAGE ROGERS & BRO 1847 SILVER PLATE 6 PIECE COFFEE TEA SET EXQUISITE PATTERN. It has a coffee pot, tea pot, sugar bowl, creamer and tea/sugar cube bowl with serving tray. Tray measures 22 wide (not including) x 16 1/2 inches (with handles 28 inches wide). This set has a embossed band around it and the rest of the body is smooth polished silver plate. I have learned with silver/silver plate, until it is cleaned, you don’t know the true condition. This is a clean set and it has no dents or dings. Coffee pot 11 inches tall and 10 inches at its widest. Tea pot 10 inches tall and 10 inches at its widest. Sugar bowl 6 1/4 inches tall 6 1/2 inches at its widest. Creamer 3 7/8 inches tall 5 1/2 inches at its widest. Tea bag/sugar cube bowl is 3 1/2 inches tall 4 inches wide. All pieces are footed. Set weighs 12 pounds 4 ounces. This was very difficult to picture due to the high shine of the pieces. We use a high resolution camera to give a detailed description of the items.
