Silver Plate Rogers

The listing is for an aesthetic silver plate frame, manufactured by Wm. Rogers Silver Company and a cranberry thumbprint glass pickle caster insert. The frame features a floral design on each side and a swing handle which can be raised to stay in the upright position of folded down. The insert features a thumbprint design on cranberry glass. Condition: The silver plate frame is in good condition as shown. There are no monograms, dents or visible repairs. The cranberry glass insert is also in good condition with no discoloration to the glass. There are no chips or cracks to the glass and only a flea bite to the top rim as shown in pictures 8 and 11. The cover is not original to the glass insert. Size: It stands about 10 inches tall and measures 6.5 inches wide at the widest point. Rogers Silverplate Cranberry Sugar Caster Bowl Spooner with 12 Spoons. Beautiful details and motifs…. Marked under lid: J. Made in USA, Quadruple plate. Circa late 19th century to early 1900′s. Measures 9 inches total height. 8 1/2 inches total width handle to handle. Cranberry thumbprint glass insert measures 2 1/2 in. High by 4 1/2 in wide (has small rim chip see close up picture). 12 spoons each marked Pat 1904 WE Rogers (see picture) spoons are not original to the sugar caster but are very nice spoons that compliment the piece. Each spoon has a script monogram “C” on the handle. Spoons measure 5 3/4 in long. No issues noted to the frame, only a very tiny minimal amount of wear to silverplate nothing that stands out, no dents etc. Use pictures as further description. Please remember that vintage items and antiques will show some type(s) of wear and may have minor imperfections they have acquired through enduring time. Antique and vintage pieces are not new and may show wear and distress from age and use, this only adds to the items’ charm and character.
