50pcs International Silver (IS) 1847 Rogers Bros. “Adoration” Silver Plate Flatware, consisting of. 4 dessert forks (in the main picture, they’re in the lid). 12 soup spoons (the first 3 rows on the left). 6 dinner forks (in the main picture, they’re to the left of center). 8 salad forks (in the main picture, they’re to the right of center). 12 teaspoons (the last 3 rows on the right). NOTE: I’ve put the location of the utensils in case I’m calling them by the wrong name or a different name than you do. The silverware itself is in very good condition, with the box in overall good condition. Please look at the pictures and ask any questions you may have.
Beautiful 50 piece, service for 8, Art Deco silverplate flatware set by 1881 Rogers Oneida in the Capri pattern, produced between 1935 – 1961. Back is stamped Wm A Rogers Triple Plate Oneida Ltd. Set includes the following. 8 Gumbo Soup Spoons. Set is in Excellent, gently used condition, no rough edges noted. A fine addition to any home or collection! All items come from a smoke free home. A complete 50 piece set of Victorian Rose silver plated silverware by W. Rogers & Son for International Silver Company. In wooden box #504 also from International Silver. Includes 16 tea spoons, 8 soup spoons, 8 salad forks, 8 dinner forks, 8 dinner knives, 1 butter knife & 1 sugar spoon. See the 4th photo. They call the soup spoons “service” but I did not use that because they are not large enough to use as what I would call a serving spoon. There is room in the box if you want to add some larger serving pieces, but this is just the 8 place settings, a butter knife and sugar spoon. These are used but not abused. Plenty of life left in them. There are several marks and light scratches on most of the pieces and they definitely need a good polishing. No major, or even minor, knicks, cuts or bends. Box has heavy wear, with several scratches and scuffs and a small piece of the veneer has broken off the back top corner. Please see the photos for the condition. There are a total of 50 pieces including. 8 Round Bouillon Soup Spoons. 8 Grille Luncheon Forks. 8 Salad Dessert Forks. 8 Hollow Handle Luncheon Grille Dinner Knives. Some pieces do need a good cleaning but is in good shape. The flatware chest does show ware but only to the outside. Inside all parts and sections here and without ware. For this reason, and the fact that many of my items are 50+ years old, my items show ware and other issues from age and use. They are NOT new or unused unless specified to be so. Look very carefully at the pictures. I also cannot verify that any given item did or did not come from a Smoke or Pet Free home. I try very hard to package as carefully as possible all of the items I sell. However, sometimes, no matter how well an item is packaged, it ends up lost or damaged.
