I have up for sale a lovely vintage / antique circa 1862 – 1877 Rogers , Smith & Co – New Haven , CT silverplate 6 slice Toast Rack. Could be used as a Napkin Stand or Letter Holder as well. It is in Excellent Estate Fresh Condition – no damages and wear is meager , nice original patina. Measures approx 6-1/4″ long , approx 6-7/8″ tall. UPON RECEIVING THE ITEM – ONLY THROW OUT THE BOX or BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM AND ARE HAPPY THAT THERE ARE NO DAMAGES other than what is shown in the pics or noted in the condition report. Rare Victorian 1860′s Rogers Smith & Co Cameo Metal Holder With Epergne Vase. Up for sale is a rare Victorian. 1860′s Rogers Smith & Co Cameo silver plate vase holder with green glass epergne bud vase. The metal silver plated Cameo holder is numbered No. 26 and manufactured by the. Rogers Smith & Co. In New Haven, Connecticut. One the earliest made by this company. The vase and metal holder is in great condition no cracks, no hairlines nor bend to the metal holder nor vase. The silver plate on the metal holder is in great condition; please see pictures. The emerald green epergne bud vase measure 7. Inches high by 4 inches wide. The metal vase holder measure 7 ½ high by 3 ½ inches wide. The height of the vase with holder measures 11. Wonderful Silverplate Ice Water Service. Comes with everything shown. Pitcher two goblets, one larger size goblet and Tray. Made by Rogers Smith & Co around 1868. See photos for makers mark from bottom of pitcher. Tray is 17.5×13.5. Pitcher is 10 tall. Goblets are 7 tall. Larger (but shorter) goblet is 6 tall. Does have some minor silver loss in a couple spots (see Tray top). One goblet has slight ding at bottom rim. Water pitcher porcelain liner is in intact, no damage. Overall great condition for being 150 years old. Monogram on each piece with Mother. Lovely addition to any collection! This is a really great super massive rogers and smith silver plated aesthetic movement tray with the most wonderful aesthetic movement and Renaissance motifs. The biggest tray I’ve ever seen. Measures 34″ x 20″ very heavy and substantial tray. Beautiful piece but please be aware it has significant wear to the silver plate. Still polished up nicely. I love this piece. If your looking for a tray for your tea set this is a great choice. Only one I have ever seen that is this large. Don’t let this one get away.
