69pc Wm Rogers Overlaid IS 1940s Silver Plated Flatware. The drawer is hard to pull out. The top layer of the box is sagging in the middle making it hard to pull out the bottom drawer.

Rogers & Brothers “Southern” Splendor SP. Rogers & Brothers Southern Splendor reinforced silver plate flatware set, circa 1962, presented in a wooden storage chest. The set includes a selection of 12-knives, 12-forks, 11-salad forks, 23-teaspoons, 10-tablespoons, 11-iced teaspoons, 12-hors d’oeuvre forks and serving utensils, a complete set of 11. The wooden chest has a red felt-lined. Interior for protection & organization, with a single pull-out drawer. Minor surface wear on the exterior, the chest measures 14.25 wide x5.25 tall x 11 inches deep. Some of the pieces are slightly tarnished. No flaws, this set is in very good condition.

Nice and bright; you can see my reflection in the spoon bowls, those aren’t dark spots. There are even some iced tea spoons! 8 Dinner forks 7.5. 7 Salad forks 6. 6 Round soup/gumbo spoons 7.25. 5 Iced tea spoons 7.5. 1 Master butter knife 6.75. 2 Serving spoons 8.5. 1 Casserole serving spoon 8.75.
