This is a lovely set of Oneida Wm A Rogers OVERLAID silver-plated flatware in the Countess I Baroness pattern, circa 1929. It is in the Art Deco style and was made in the United States. Overlaid means there was extra silver added to make the silver-plate more durable. It includes service for eight: 8 dinner knives, 8 dinner forks, 8 pie/salad forks, 8 teaspoons, 8 soup spoons, 1 butter knife and 1 sugar spoon (42 pieces). Also included are two pieces with different patterns, as shown in photo 6. The identification marks of these two pieces are shown in photos 7 and 8. The slotted spoon is marked International Silver, and the fork is marked Holmes & Edwards IS. So there is a total of 44 pieces altogether. Comes with the Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and the original case, which looks like mahogany wood. The bottom of the case is worn as shown in the last photo. But the case is very sturdy. This case was made to hold 12 knives, or service for 12, but I believe the same case was also used for service for 8, or 8 knives. Nice set for the collector or someone just starting out who wants to use vintage items.

69pc Wm Rogers Overlaid IS 1940s Silver Plated Flatware. The drawer is hard to pull out. The top layer of the box is sagging in the middle making it hard to pull out the bottom drawer.

Rogers Overlaid IS Silverplate Vintage Silverware in a wooden storage anti tarnish box. The silverware include as follow. 8 olive/ hors d’oeuvre forks. 9 dessert/ small spoons. 1 Large serving fork. 1 Large serving spoon. (I counted them via pictures taken so I may be off by 1 on the spoons). Pre owned good condition. May have light tarnish. For more details please study all pictures.

Service size of 12. They are in really nice condition. Kept in a Turndt case which is known for keeping silver and silver plated silver nice and shiney.
