Silver Plate Rogers
Hodgepodge of cutlery from the 1847 Rogers brother’s heritage collection. Pictures 10 & 11 show the 11 dessert / salad forks from the Roger’s Avalon collection that were added later to this listing.

Chest has a broken hinge, scratches & wear. Service for 12 (minus one dinner fork & 4 soup spoons).
This is the individual mark used on coin and silver spoons (Hartford, CT, 1825 – 1841). This mark continued to be used until 1976 in silverplated flatware. The bottom of the plate is inscribed with the (Eagle) WM. Rogers (Star) emblem 170.

The set is the “Exquisite” pattern, circa 1950 and consists of 57 pieces, including the case. There is a full service for at least 8, as well as several extra pieces. Treat yourself. You deserve it!
This tray has a beautiful design of flowers and scrolls along the rim and handles.
