Silver Plate Rogers

This vintage silverplate tea set by WM. A Rogers, manufactured by Oneida Ltd. Silversmiths, is a rare find that comes with most all of its original boxes. The set includes five pieces, featuring an American Victorian pattern and a Victorian style. Its composition is silverplate and the age is unknown. Sugar Bowl w/ cover #08 0690 – 3″ tall x 3.5″ Dia. Really lovely pieces in nice shape. We’re quite certain that the six large forks are all coin silver. We think that the rest are as well, but are not absolutely certain so we’re including them here clearly stating that we don’t know for sure if they’re coin silver. They came from the same home as the forks and all are also marked Rogers in varying forms, including “A1, ” “9, ” and 1847.

The product is a rare and collectible set of 1847 Rogers Bros “Reflection” silverware, consisting of 58 pieces. This flatware set is made of silverplate and includes the original pamphlet and a lined wood chest with a lower drawer. 2 Large Serving Spoons. Lined wood case with lower drawer. The elegant “Reflection” pattern adds to the charm and beauty of this vintage silverware set, making it a unique and desirable piece for any home or collection.

This exact floral pattern is hard to find! When doing my research, I simply could not identify the pattern- most had the design going all the way down the handle. The pattern stops mid-length. Finally, I contacted the replacements website and gave them my photos and they got back to me with the exact design- Roger’s Embossed by International Silver pattern INSEMBO. These are “large spoons”. They are larger than the regular “teaspoon” sizes. These are 7 long and the bowls are about 1.5 in wide. They could easily be used for soup. They are silver-plate and do show some tarnish. These are older and discontinued. They do have some markings. I have done my best to point out these imperfections.

This vintage slotted serving spoon from 1904 by 1847 Rogers is a rare find. Made of silverplate, it features a grape pattern on the handle, making it a unique and elegant addition to any silverware collection.

RARE Antique Rogers Bros MFG Co Silver plate Large Beer Stein, Serving Pitcher. This pitcher is so RARE. It was made by Rogers Bros MFG Co. It’s marked on the bottom as shown in the photos. The company used this mark from 1853 to 1861. Please see all the photos for the condition and the dimensions. This large serving beer pitcher is in great condition for its age. It has some discoloration. It needs to get polished and cleaned. There are a couple of dent spots as shown in the photos. One is on the bottom and the other one around the pitcher. There are some scratches are shown in the photos. The tip of the finial on the top is broken off as shown in the photos. This item is large. The dimensions are about 16.5 X 10 X 8. I have more Heraldric for sale, so check it out. This is a lot of 12 soup or gumbo spoons. Each is about 6 -1/2″ long & about 1 -3/4″ wide at the’bowl’ of the spoon. They could use a polish but are shiny & in good vintage condition with the expected overall light scuffing from use. No monograms & no pitting. My patio lights above them were reflected on the shiny surfaces. A perfectly elegant pattern for any table.
