A pattern offered this time in a rather scarce piece part of its hollowware collection, its DOUBLE VEGETABLE BOWL 12 1/8″x 9 ¾” a vintage estate piece in a very good to an excellent condition, very well taken care of showing at the most some cosmetic details inside its main bowl as shown other than that the overall plate is excellent, thick smooth to the touch lustrous mirror finish, stamped. Hard to find double vegetable bowl in the Heritage pattern by Rogers Bros 1847. Marked on the bottom Heritage and Rogers Bros 1847 9412. Still has the inspection sticker. The bottom dish measures 13 X 9 1/4″ and is about 1 3/4″ deep. The top lid is 10 1/2″ X 7 1/2″ and is also about 1 3/4 deep. It looks like it has never been used. Antique Joseph Rogers Victorian Sheffield EPC Vegetable Dish Mixed Metal Look. It is in good antique estate condition, There is silver plate loss but it gives the piece a beautiful mixed metal look. The handle removes from the lid so the piece can be used as either two dishes or as one covered dish. The bottom dish is marked with the early Joseph Rogers mark of an asterisk and E. Inside of an oval and both the bottom piece and the handle are marked H. Joseph Rogers started business in Sheffield England in 1682. This piece dates from 1850 – 1860. EPC stands for Electro Plated Copper. The dish measures 11.3″ long by 8.5″ wide. It stands 1.75″ tall without the lid and about 5.25″ tall with the lid and handle. Track Page Views With. Base is the same as soup tureen, so could be used for serving vegetables or soup or any other large helping of food. Interior of bowl is 8 1/4″ across and inside depth about 5 1/2″ deep in center. Footed base is 5 7/8″ high and with domed lid in place on top is 10″ high. Condition: Excellent condition with no monograms, dings or dents. Inside bowl is one pinhead size speckle and just a couple pinpoint speckles. Nearly perfect and shines brightly.
