It has a nice Decorative Gadrooned Edge and also nice Moulded Handles to lift it about. The Centre has been Beautifully Chased with Scrolls and Acanthus leaves slight hint of copper hue on the chasing to give it some nice antique charm. A 55 piece set of silver plated flatware in the International / 1847 Rogers “Daffodil” pattern of 1950, unmonogrammed, consisting of these pieces. 8 dinner knives 9 3/8 inches long with modern style stainless blades. 8 dinner forks 7 1/2. 8 salad forks 6 5/8. 8 round soup spoons 7. 16 teaspoons 6 1/8. 2 tablespoons 8 3/8. Casserole spoon 8 7/8. Serving fork 8 3/4. Gravy ladle 6 1/4. Master butter knife 6 3/4. Sugar spoon 5 7/8. All of the pieces are marked 1847 ROGERS BROS IS DAFFODIL except the knives which are only marked STAINLESS on the blades, with some tarnish and surface scratches/scuffs from normal use, generally in good, lightly used condition with no wear through of silverplate with the exception of the cold meat fork which has a spot of wear on the heel and the butter knife which has some deeper scratches on the blade.
