1907 ROAST CARVING 14 ½ SET 3pC?? Exotic tastes were one of the hallmarks of the Aesthetic movement and an exotic Revival was a sub-theme peaking around 1880 to the early 1900s with the American fascination for Arabesque ornament. Moorish tiles, Persian furniture, and Turkish smoking rooms were all the rage. 1907 is a beautiful example in American Silverplate history, offered this time in its rather scarce ROAST CARVING SET KNIFE 14 ½” FORK 11 ¼” and STEEL ROD SHARPENER 13 ¼ an over 100 years old antique estate set in a remarkable very good condition, handles in an excellent shape NO dents, NO monogram with an aged patina enhancing its details, the blade as well of the rod show aged spots due year of abandonment despite such the condition it’s still beautiful clean blade retaining a mirror finish with NO sharpening marks, fork with a clean hinge NO rust, stamped.
