Silver Plate Rogers

This is a seldom used Vintage F. Rogers 7pc Tea/Coffee Set which includes the highly sought after Tilting Kettle with Warmer Stand. Also included are the Creamer, Lidded Sugar Bowl and Waste Container and Large Butlers Tray. This set is in amazing condition. The inside of each piece looks as though they were rarely used. The wick on the warming burner looks like it might have been lit only once. All pieces are free of dents and major scratches. There is some minor tarnish. I have not cleaned these pieces. There are in the same condition in which they came to me. This set is pattern # 2391, except the tray. Pieces are marked F. The Tray is marked Wm Rogers. I have not found a scratch, dent or a flaw on the coffee pot, teapot, creamer or sugar. Each piece has its own original box. They have been in our family, were used carefully and packed away for many years. They could use polishing but are beautiful as is. The tray is more tarnished than the rest and shows some wear, minor scratches and a few pencil point size dots. I don’t know if they can be polished out. This is a set of silverplate flatare made by 1847 Rogers & Bro. The pattern is called Ambassador and it was first introduced in 1919. All are in excellent used condition with no base metal showing. Included in the 42 piece set are. 12 Dinner Knives 9 1/2. 1 Dinner Fork 7 1/2. 12 Salad Forks 6 1/4. 6 Tablespoons 8 1/4. This is a nice partial set in a 1847 Rogers. The box does have a little wear and it looks like someone put something on top leaving a mark, but it still looks very nice.
