Silver Plate Rogers

Beautiful set of Melon shaped pots and bowls with melon bud finials. Wooden handles on coffee and tea pots. Silver plate by Rogers 1881 (Oneida). Marked and also with Canada stamp. In very good condition, no dents. Very little loss of plating, mostly on scalloped edge of pots. Inside of bowls shows some wear. They both exhibit the gold color interior. Coffee pot is 9″ tall, Tea pot is 5 1/2″ tall, Sugar (missing lid) is 3 1/4″ tall, Creamer is 4″ tall. The Butler Tray is not a match, marked Wm. Rogers (Eagle) and (Star). Very large, 26 1/2 ” handle to handle and 15″ wide. Handles have a grape and leaves motif. Scrolled pattern on tray has a vase of flowers as part of the motif. Marked also 1006 1/2. From about the 1950′s. Cup and Saucer, not a set but looks good together. Cup has floral decoration and saucer is solid color make a good match. Both are made in England, one is marked Royal Sutherland and the other is marked Aynsley. In very good condition, bone china, no damage. Overall excellent condition especially given the age of. No plate loss except some very minor rubbing on the ridges of the leaf rest on the back of some of the pieces (see final photo). No corrosion or pitting on knife blades (all blades are silver-plated). This is a seldom used Vintage F. Rogers 7pc Tea/Coffee Set which includes the highly sought after Tilting Kettle with Warmer Stand. Also included are the Creamer, Lidded Sugar Bowl and Waste Container and Large Butlers Tray. This set is in amazing condition. The inside of each piece looks as though they were rarely used. The wick on the warming burner looks like it might have been lit only once. All pieces are free of dents and major scratches. There is some minor tarnish. I have not cleaned these pieces. There are in the same condition in which they came to me. This set is pattern # 2391, except the tray. Pieces are marked F. The Tray is marked Wm Rogers. You are viewing a F. Sterling Coffee, Tea, Creamer & two Sugar Bowls Set. Total weight: 1,595.7 grams Sterling or 51.3 oz. Handles on Coffee & Tea have 2 clear discs, see photo’s, it is a really unique addition to this classic set. 1- Coffee Urn: hinged lid, wobbles a little, under Hallmark info there is also a #16. Weight: 559.1 grams. 2- Tea Pot: hinged lid, under Hallmark is a #2. Weight: 461.9 grams. 3- Covered Sugar: Weight: 239.5 grams. 4- Sugar Bowl: Gold tone inside, Weight: 153.8 grams. 5- Creamer: Gold tone inside, Weight: 181.4 grams. All hinges are perfect, so are lids. There are a few minor marks or dings here & there on Coffee Urn nothing much to mention. I really couldn’t capture w/camera but any photo that you see that you can’t really tell what it is, that is the area. Some spots I notice may come out with a strong polishing. But this is a lovely set. There is an area that looks like there may be a crack in the ring on the Tea set, see photo, it is not broken, just maybe a little cracked area. Overall the condition on this set on a scale of 1-10, being this is a Vintage 5 piece of Coffee & Tea Set of beautiful Sterling Silver, I’d give it a solid 8+. The only way it could be higher at this age is by never using or enjoying it. This is still 100% functional and a few little dings or marks mean nothing. This is a vintage set of flatware by Wm. The pattern is Jubilee (dating 1953) and it is silver plated. The set includes: 16 KNIVES. 10 BUTTER KNIVES (2 Jubilee Pattern & 8 another rose pattern) See pictures. There are a total of 103 pieces. 95 pieces are Jubilee and 8 of the butter knives are another rose pattern. This set does include the box. This set is in good vintage condition; the plating is in good shape on most pieces. The tines of the dinner forks characteristically show the most wear.
