Punch Bowl with Matching Tray and Ladle. Includes 12 Nickel Silver Punch Cups. This was a gift from a collector friend when we were still entertaining. This set comes with a footed punch bowl, 1883 FB Rogers, 11 1/2 inches tall by 17 inches in diameter. Features grape clusters and flowers. In good condition, normal wear to interior bottom from ladle, see photos. Also included is a tray with a floral design measuring 22 1/4 inches in diameter. This is the only piece that is not FB Rogers. It is in good condition with wear/scratches where the bowl sits; they are not visible with the bowl and glasses on top. There is sticker residue in one area that needs to be cleaned, see photos. The FB Rogers grapevine twisted ladle matches the punch bowl and measures 17 1/4 inches long. The ladle portion measures five and three-quarter inches wide. There is an area of wear to the plating on the handle portion, see photos. This is a stunning piece. Finally, there are 60 FB Rogers silver plate cups that measure 2 1/2 inches tall by 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Some are still in the original bags. The handles have a small flower at the top. These were only given a cursory polish to see what cups had damage so they will need to be polished again. Three have tiny dents about the size of a pinhead, and one has a larger 1/4 inch dent. All dents are on the bottom and all cups are still usable, see photos. Three of the cups have areas of wear that may not polish out as they may be oxidation, see photos. Several cups have interiors that need to be polished. This is a huge lot that is excellent for parties, weddings, etc. It looks stunning on a drink table with a black tablecloth. This was put away unused for most of the century. The knives hardly ever turn up, and these solid handle style knives have no wear showing. The forks also look great. I have not found a scratch, dent or a flaw on the coffee pot, teapot, creamer or sugar. Each piece has its own original box. They have been in our family, were used carefully and packed away for many years. They could use polishing but are beautiful as is. The tray is more tarnished than the rest and shows some wear, minor scratches and a few pencil point size dots. I don’t know if they can be polished out. This is a set of silverplate flatare made by 1847 Rogers & Bro. The pattern is called Ambassador and it was first introduced in 1919. All are in excellent used condition with no base metal showing. Included in the 42 piece set are. 12 Dinner Knives 9 1/2. 1 Dinner Fork 7 1/2. 12 Salad Forks 6 1/4. 6 Tablespoons 8 1/4. This is a nice partial set in a 1847 Rogers. The box does have a little wear and it looks like someone put something on top leaving a mark, but it still looks very nice. Piece: Coffee Pot, Creamer, Covered Sugar and Waiter Tray. Maker: International Silver 1847 Rogers Line – circa 1941. Condition: Overall shiny and in nice condition with exception of three small dings. The coffee pot has one that is a little deeper, but in person looks like a tiny line speck and barely noticeable – see last photo. The sugar near side bottom has a 1/8 circular ding, and creamer a very small shallow ding. The one on creamer is really the only one you might notice at a glance. Insides are clean, I could have washed out the inside of creamer , but the dark gold wash is mostly intact so didn’t mess with it. Tray has a few minor scuffs, but overall very nice too with large Eternally yours design on handles and design on lids that match the flatware pattern. Size: Coffee pot is 11 1/2″ high, and 9 3/4″ from handle to spout. Creamer and sugar in proportion to that to give you an idea of size. Tray is 20″ by about 14″ wide.
