Silver Plate Rogers

Beautiful set of Melon shaped pots and bowls with melon bud finials. Wooden handles on coffee and tea pots. Silver plate by Rogers 1881 (Oneida). Marked and also with Canada stamp. In very good condition, no dents. Very little loss of plating, mostly on scalloped edge of pots. Inside of bowls shows some wear. They both exhibit the gold color interior. Coffee pot is 9″ tall, Tea pot is 5 1/2″ tall, Sugar (missing lid) is 3 1/4″ tall, Creamer is 4″ tall. The Butler Tray is not a match, marked Wm. Rogers (Eagle) and (Star). Very large, 26 1/2 ” handle to handle and 15″ wide. Handles have a grape and leaves motif. Scrolled pattern on tray has a vase of flowers as part of the motif. Marked also 1006 1/2. From about the 1950′s. Cup and Saucer, not a set but looks good together. Cup has floral decoration and saucer is solid color make a good match. Both are made in England, one is marked Royal Sutherland and the other is marked Aynsley. In very good condition, bone china, no damage. This is a beautiful antique Rogers & Bros tripleplate metal scalloped dish. The silver plated dish has a cherub on end and is raised on tripod acanthus decorated legs. This has been dated to 1890 to 1910. Underneath the bottom of one of the legs it is stamped Roger & Bros Tripleplate 122 and has the hand with bolts of lightning logo. For its age it is in very good condition. I want to note that it does look like the cherub was holding something in his hand. There is also a hole underneath where his legs are crossed. There is patina as well. The cherubs head stands at 8.5 inches. The dish is also 8.5 inches long 6.5 inches wide at the widest part. The feet at the base are 6 inches apart. This is a vintage set of flatware by Wm. The pattern is Jubilee (dating 1953) and it is silver plated.
