1947 Roger’s Brothers silver plated silver ware set. Super nice set in my opinion Has all the pieces, plus 2 extra pieces in this set. The wood box is in great shape, very solid product. It’s not new but to be as old as it is it’s great. I’m old so stuff has to go or I would keep it. Sent several pictures the guarantee paper work and care instructions are still in the set. I can’t really say enough.

Rogers was born in 1801 and died in 1873, and was an American silversmith who was a groundbreaking pioneer of the silverplate industry. Rogers’ designs were influenced by Louis XIV-style patterns of the 17th and 18th century in France, and he was best known for his Elberon pattern and “Presidential” cutlery series. Large scarce piece perfect statement of the quality manufacture during this period depicting an elongated body, domed lid, solid acanthus shaping the arms, handle, spout applied around the base and feet done with substantial mirrored plating excellent detail to the solid finals and cast arms original burner with wick in excellent unused conditions strong firm arms handle and hinge, Bakelite insulator rings the whole piece with splendid finish and outstanding attention to detail. Oneida Silverplate 1881 Rogers Del Mar Silverware Flatware 47 Piece Set Vintage. 8 Tablespoons/ Place/Soup Spoons, 7 1/8. 8 Dinner Forks, 7.5. 7 Salad Forks, 6.5. 6 Table Knives, 8 3/8. 1 Sugar Spoon, 6. 1 Gravy Ladle, 7.25 This is a very hard-to-find piece. All are in good condition, no pitting, normal use wear. These were badly in need of polishing, which I did. Box is in good, not perfect condition. The 1.5 crack shown in the last photo is in the back left corner. The box weighs 3 #.
The Flatware consists of the following pieces. The flatware has normal wear from age basically surface scratches and some very minimal tarnish around the flower patterns. The tarnish free chest has normal wear to the exterior (interior is pretty clean) mainly scuffs, dings, and scratches to the finish. PLEASE SEE THE PHOTOS FOR CONTENT AND CONDITION.

These items are over than 50 years old, there’s a signs of imperfection but not major glaring flaws. Expecting like a brand new item is unreasonable.
