Beautiful set of 1847 Rogers Bros flatware in the sought after Vintage Grape pattern. There are 234 Pcs in all. Considering this pattern is over 100 years old, it is very good beautiful condition. There are some pieces that have plate loss on the back. The worst is 2 of the serving spoons have both front and back plate loss in the “spoon” area. 3 of the knives almost look like someone down the road tried to take a file or something to them. I’ve tried to capture this in the last picture. 2 of the knives with that done to them are 8 1/2″ the rest of the knives with the higher relief are 9 3/4″ long. The other 12 knives are in very good condition. All of the handles are very good on all pieces. Some scratching, but you don’t really notice it. Included in this set is as follows. 15 – 9 3/4 Hollow handle table knives 3 have plate loss (for lack of what to call it). 12 – 9 1/4 Hollow handle table knives without the raised relief of the grapes. 12 – 6 1/8 Individual butter knives. 12 – 7 1/2 Dinner forks. 1 – 7 fork, dinner? 30 – 5 7/8 Teaspoons. 17 – 5 3/4 Salad fork. 1 – 6 1/2 Flared salad fork. 13 – 6 1/8 Cocktail forks. 13 – 5 3/4 Grapefruit spoons. 3 – 5 1/4 Cream Soup spoons. 7 – 7 Bouillon soup spoons. 8 – 7 1/4 oval soup spoons. 10 – 6 1/8 Pie/cake forks. 4 – 7 1/8 Master butter knives. 8 – 6 Sugar spoons. 3 – 8 3/4 Berry / Casserole spoons. 3 – 7 Gravy ladles. 3 – 5 5/8 Cream ladles. 6 – 8 1/4 Cold meat forks. 1 – 8 1/2 Chipped Beef fork. 1 – 11 Soup ladle. 6 – 5 1/2 Five (5) O’Clock spoons. 21 – 1 1/4 Demitasse spoons. 2 – Sugar Tongs. 4 – 7 1/2 Pickle forks. 2 – 8 1/2 Olive forks. 1 – 8 Muddler spoon. 1 – 4 1/8 Chocolate spoon. 2 – 7 1/2 Cake servers. 1 – Childs / baby spoon. 12 – 8 1/4 Serving spoons. As stated before, this set is over 100 years old, there are scratches from use and some plate loss from use. Over all the set is beautiful. Some of the pieces are marked 1847 Rogers Bros A1 and some are marked 1847 Rogers Bros XS Triple. I would be more than happy to send any pictures of any of the pieces you would like to see backs on. Like I said, 6 of the serving spoons have it the worst, 2 of those have loss front AND back. More pieces have loss, but not as many as I thought I would find. I have tried to describe as best I can so I can get a clear picture in your mind. So, again, please ask questions and/or pictures. I’d be more than happy to respond and/or send. I’m not sure if I can adjust it after you pay. The box and silverware weigh 32 pounds!!!!
