Beautiful hard to find set of six (6) silverplate dinner forks by 1847 Roger Bros in the Crown pattern production beginning in 1885. Pattern with an aesthetic floral design, no mono. Each measure 7 long and are in Excellent antique condition, no plate loss noted, please see all photos. A fine addition to any home or collection! All items come from a smoke free home. This Crown by 1847 Rogers Bros two piece fish set has a knife of 11.25″ and a fork of 8.5″ in length. Each piece has a lovely MM double monogram, situated sideways, on their handles. Both the blade and the tines also have nice decoration. A rare, very good condition attractive aesthetic era fish set in American silverplate. This is a BEAUTIFUL Vintage Coffee/Tea Set by F. Rogers Silver 5 pc. CROWN TRADEMARKED 1883 and the numbers 6003 underneath the tray. There is some minor pitting on the tray (please see pix). But there are no dents, missing or loosening of pieces. All together the set weighs over 8 pounds. The large tray measures 22 inches from handle to handle and is 12 5/8 inches wide. The coffee/tea pot is 10 ½ inches tall, the sugar container is 6 ¼ inches tall and the sugar server is 4 ½ inches with the lid. There is some darkening of the handles on the sugar container and the lower part of the outer tray. I dont know what that is or if it can be lightened like the rest. The item “F. B. Rogers Silver Co. This is a set of 16 Rogers Bro silverplate forks and spoons. We believe this is the “Crown” pattern. 9 forks are 7 1/2″ and the spoons are 5 7/8″. Spoon have some wear on the under side of the bowl, otherwise condition is very good. All are marked on the backs with the name. From a local estate.
