This is a complete 12 place setting set with 7 extra pieces. Most of the pieces have Reinforced Silver Plate AA International Silver stamped on the back. There are a few that don’t. Stunning Antique Set of Three Roger Bros Silver Plate on Footed Friedman Tray. In good condition considering the age except one of the tea pot foot’s has been restored/ fixed, please see the pictures. Size 1.25 inches tall and 14.5 inches diameter for the tray. 10.5 inches tall and 9.5 X 5 inches diameter. 5.5 inches tall and 6 X 4 inches diameter for sugar caddie and 5 inches tall 4 X 3 inches diameter for creamer jug. Absolutely beautiful and stunning silver plate tea set, perfect for your additional sophisticated antique silver plate collection. These items are over than 50 years old, there’s a signs of imperfection but not major glaring flaws. Expecting like a brand new item is unreasonable.
Art Deco Rogers Legacy 1847 Coffee Service Set, 1929, Silver Plate. Coffee pot with hinged lid and black ebony spacers on handle, lidded sugar bowl and cream pitcher. Two oval service trays – one large and one medium. This is an amazingly beautiful example of Art Deco design of the late 1920s. Coffee Pot: 8″ high, 8 1/2″ x 3 3/4 wide. Cream Pitcher: 3 1/4″ high, 6 1/2″ s 3 1/2 wide. Lidded Sugar Bowl: 4 3/4″ high, 6 1/2″ x 3 1/2 wide. Large Oval Tray: 12″ x 18″. Medium Oval Tray: 11″ x 16″. Condition: Very good, no dents or nicks and very minimal wear due to use. Medium tray has three small spots on upper surface and 4 small spots on bottom surface. Overall very good condition to all pieces. Please look at photos. Provenance: handed down from past family and well cared for.

This is the classic two-handled round bowl form, perfect as a fruit, berry, salad, or centerpiece bowl. It carries the crisp early factory marks that serious collectors look for. ROGERS SMITH & CO. NEW HAVEN CONN. Size/capacity mark 2 1/2 (2½). Heavy quadruple silver plate on Britannia metal base (the best grade Rogers Smith offered). Two beautifully cast and applied loop handles with reeded borders. Generous shallow body with wide everted rim – ideal for elegant table service. Diameter approximately 10 inches across the rim. Height to top of handles about 3¾ inches. Weight 1.112 lbs (504 g) – perfect heft and balance. No monograms, no dents, no repairs, no plate loss. Outstanding original untouched condition for its 150+ years. Even soft tarnish that polishes easily if desired (currently left as-found for the collector who loves authentic patina). Only light surface scratches from gentle use – nothing that detracts. Handles are tight and secure. Displays magnificently right now and will be stunning when polished. This exact New Haven-marked size 2½ bowl with attached handles is far less common than later Meriden production or the company’s flatware. A true collector-grade example of early American silverplate at its finest.
