This is one fabulous estate sale find which I’m sure you will love to have at your next big occasion. Be it Thanksgiving, Christmas or what-ever the occasion for celebrating. Just look at the finely detailed craftsmanship. This set includes 65 pieces (including the chest) in very good condition with very little silver loss. I want to point out with the exception of 2 knives (the ones on each end of the picture below), this set has not been polished. If you have a look at picture #12 you’ll see how much tarnish was removed from only those two knives. It should also be noted the case (which is in very good condition) says “tarnish-proof silverware chest”. But it apparently really isn’t. Here you can see the before and after polishing pictures. Note the tarnish on the two end pieces was removed. I did not take the time to polish this complete set and thought I’d allow you and your friends and family to have an enjoyable time together sitting around polishing the rest of these and when you’re all done they’re going to look fantastic.. (Sorry but the bottle of Wright’s silver polish and polish cloth shown in picture 12 will not be included). In the bottom drawer of this set there are also two large serving forks, three smaller forks, one larger butter knife & four smaller butter knives pictured here. Four of the forks have been engraved with the letter E on the handle. Six of the spoons have been engraved with the letter L on the handle. One of the larger spoons has been engraved with the letters M & R on the handle. One of the smaller soup ladles has been engraved with what looks like Hattie but it is difficult to tell exactly.
