Ryan’s Relics Auctions. Has weighted base about 6 in diameter. A little tarnished, could use a cleaning. Both in great shape. One has a very slight lean to it. They weight over 5lbs each. Great cosmetic condition, no significant damage, some light scratches, mostly tarnish. Clean it up and it will look great. It is stamped Wm. 116 on the bottom with eagle & star. A silver plate candelabra set by Wm. These matching holders features Baroque inspired scrolled foliate motifs with three capitals, two arms, and a base. Beautiful silver plate 3-light candelabra pair in 1847 Rogers Bros. The top 3-light arms can be removed and the bases used as single candlesticks. Each one is appx 15″ wide x 4″ deep x 18 tall. The base is 5-3/4 across. Bottom single candlestick is 11-1/4 tall. I could not find any damage, dents, or evidence of repairs. Very faint scratches, appropriate to age and use. The cups are clean and free of wax. Marked Heritage 1847 Rogers Bros. IS 9416 on the bottom of each. If you want the whole story behind them: I’ve loved these candlesticks my entire life. My mom would never let me touch them, which is why they are in such fantastic condition. They sat on the big table, in the fancy dining room, where we ate only at holidays and when family was visiting. When they sparkle and reflect the candlelight on the table, they are one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. I dreamed about the day my own children would sit in a fancy dining room, illuminated by these candlesticks. My home is very small and very simple. These beautiful candelabra deserve a more elegant setting, to be used and admired by a new family, to inspire dreams for someone else.
