Up for sale is a group of 6 hollow handle Old French dinner knives made by Rogers / International. These knives are silver plate in the Charter Oak pattern. They measure 9 3/4 in length and are marked 1847 Rogers Bros. In looking them over we find them to be in good condition with beautiful darkness and nice luster. They have been hand polished to aid in inspection. All the surfaces have use and storage marks. On the blades are scratches, tiny dents, age spots and plate lift. Nice condition with no damage, no plate loss, no monogram with typical use wear. Even with some patina from aging, these are nice and bright: you can see my reflection in the spoon bowls, those aren’t dark spots. This product is a set of six antique Victorian fruit/cheese knives made by Wm. Rogers & Son, known for its high-quality silver products. This is for a a matching set of 24 pieces of flatware- 4 types and 6 of each. (6) Dinner Forks- 8-1/2 long. (6) Dinner Knives with rounded blunt tip- 9-3/8 long. (6) Teaspoons- 6 long. (6) Fruit/ Orange spoons- 6 long. This is marked: Pat. Nov 29 1910, Wm Rogers & son aa. Pattern is Orange Blossom and they are made from heavy duty silver plate. In good condition for its age and pre-owned. This set is from the same estate and appears to have been together its whole life because the condition is same on the pieces. This is probably the best condition I ever see this pattern in these days. They have tiny surface scratches from age, use & polishing like silverplate acquires over time. They spoons have very little plate loss on back if any on the heels.
