1940 WM ROGERS EAGLE STAR ANTIQUE ORNATE & GADROON AESTHETIC TILTING TEAPOT(eagle) WM. From 1878 to 1893 the mark was used in silverplate flatware by Simpson, Hall, Miller & Co under permission of William Rogers Jr. This mark continued to be used until 1976 in silverplated flatware and from 1938 to 1976 in hollowwareWilliam Rogers now known as Wm. Rogers was born in 1801 and died in 1873, and was an American silversmith who was a groundbreaking pioneer of the silverplate industry. Rogers’ designs were influenced by Louis XIV-style patterns of the 17th and 18th century in France, and he was best known for his Elberon pattern and “Presidential” cutlery series. Large scarce piece perfect statement of the quality manufacture during this period depicting an elongated body, domed lid, solid acanthus shaping the arms, handle, spout applied around the base and feet done with substantial mirrored plating excellent detail to the solid finals and cast arms original burner with wick in excellent unused conditions strong firm arms handle and hinge, Bakelite insulator rings the whole piece with splendid finish and outstanding attention to detail. Set of 6 antique silverplated 5 ICE CREAM FORKS or SPORKS in the 1900 YORK pattern by Wm Rogers & Son. Very nice condition with no damage, no plate loss, no monogram with light use wear. You can see my reflection in the bowls, those aren’t dark spots.

Wm Rogers MFG Co Extra Plate Original Rogers Small Cream Ladle.

VINTAGE 1847 ROGERS BROS. 1904 ICE CREAM FORK 5 ½- 5pC SET?? 1904 Samuel Stohr design features the intricacy of Victorian-style pieces, combined with the realism in execution and detail characteristic of Art Nouveau works-both attributes that appeal to collectors who appreciate antique, high-quality silverware. 1904, offered this time, in a 5pC SET of its ICE CREAM FORK 5 ½, an antique estate set in excellent condition, original decorated tines bowl, no plate loss, no monogram, and aged patina enhancing its details, stamped, -1847 ROGERS BROS. Followed by the little Meriden imprint within a tiny circle, -XS TRIPLE.

MY PICTURES LOOK LIKE THEY ARE DISCOLORED OR CLOUDY BUT THEY ARE NOT. THEY ARE LIKE NEW. I NEVER TAKE CLEAR PICTURES OF ALL MY SILVER. EACH SPOON MEASURES APPROX. JUST VERY FEW SCUFFS FROM STORAGE. THEY ARE BRIGHT AND SHINY. I DON’T THINK THEY HAVE EVER BEEN USED.

Here is a set of 6 silverplate antique ice cream forks in the Raphael pattern made by Rogers and Hamilton in the late 1890s. The spoons have an elegant design with fan shapes on the handle and foliage around the bowl. The forks measure 5 1/2 inches long and are in very good condition with light wear. The forks are marked Rogers and Hamilton and Pat 1896.

The tray measures approximately 18 inches long by 12.5 inches wide. The lidded sugar measures 7 inches long by 6 inches tall. The creamer is 6 inches tall by 4 inches wide. All piece are marked Argosy and the patterns match. The inside of the creamer has a gold wash finish. Lovely high quality pieces. Excellent condition with light surface marks but no dents, damage, or repairs.

Description: Six (6) Silverplate Cream Soup Spoons in the pattern LA VIGNE BY 1881 ROGERS. They are not monogrammed. 6 3/8 in length. Very good condition, see pictures to verify. Spoons have not been polished while in my possession. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
