Here we have for your consideration a fine Quality Antique Art Nouveau 26 Chased Silver On Copper Butler Serving Platter Tray. Of Oval form, Acanthus embossed twin Handled. Large vacant cartouche to the centre flanked by intricate chase work depicting Acanthus and various elegant patterns. Repousse banding On outer rim. Presented in very good order throughout, clean and bright. Some light traces of copper glow on the high relief chasing through overzealous cleaning over the years, nothing to dramatic. Minor surface ware commensurate with age and use. Fully stamped for Wm ROGERS C1920. All in all a substantial piece of Silverware that would certainly grace any table or setting.
