Handles on Coffee & Tea have 2 clear discs, see photo’s, it is a really unique addition to this classic set. 1- Coffee Urn: hinged lid, wobbles a little, under Hallmark info there is also a #16. Weight: 559.1 grams. 2- Tea Pot: hinged lid, under Hallmark is a #2. Weight: 461.9 grams. 3- Covered Sugar: Weight: 239.5 grams. 4- Sugar Bowl: Gold tone inside, Weight: 153.8 grams. 5- Creamer: Gold tone inside, Weight: 181.4 grams. All hinges are perfect, so are lids. There are a few minor marks or dings here & there on Coffee Urn nothing much to mention. I really couldn’t capture w/camera but any photo that you see that you can’t really tell what it is, that is the area. Some spots I notice may come out with a strong polishing. But this is a lovely set. There is an area that looks like there may be a crack in the ring on the Tea set, see photo, it is not broken, just maybe a little cracked area. Overall the condition on this set on a scale of 1-10, being this is a Vintage 5 piece of Coffee & Tea Set of beautiful Sterling Silver, I’d give it a solid 8+. The only way it could be higher at this age is by never using or enjoying it. This is still 100% functional and a few little dings or marks mean nothing. Piece: Coffee Pot, Creamer, Covered Sugar and Waiter Tray. Maker: International Silver 1847 Rogers Line – circa 1941. Condition: Overall shiny and in nice condition with exception of three small dings. The coffee pot has one that is a little deeper, but in person looks like a tiny line speck and barely noticeable – see last photo. The sugar near side bottom has a 1/8 circular ding, and creamer a very small shallow ding. The one on creamer is really the only one you might notice at a glance. Insides are clean, I could have washed out the inside of creamer , but the dark gold wash is mostly intact so didn’t mess with it. Tray has a few minor scuffs, but overall very nice too with large Eternally yours design on handles and design on lids that match the flatware pattern. Size: Coffee pot is 11 1/2″ high, and 9 3/4″ from handle to spout. Creamer and sugar in proportion to that to give you an idea of size. Tray is 20″ by about 14″ wide. About the featured tray: This very “rare” vintage tray which is absolutely gorgeous! It is featured with this group, and is made by the International Silver. The pattern is “Admiral” #7209. The finish is lovely! There are seashells in all four corners with rope theme that wraps the entire edge of the tray which makes this a beautiful nautical piece that goes very well with this chosen tea set. Tray has a few very fine scratches, minor ding and tarnish that are typical with a used pre owned piece. Appears to be never used and most of the utensils are still in their original plastic sleeves. This 52 piece 8 place setting includes: 16 teaspoons, 8 dinner knives, 8 dinner forks, 8 salad forks, 8 soup spoons, 1 solid serving spoon, 1 slotted serving spoon, 1 butter knife and 1 sugar spoon. I believe all of the knife handles are tarnished since they are merely wrapped in paper, and a few of the other utensils are tarnished. For your consideration is this 12 settings collection with several serving pieces. The condition of the silver chest is “good’” but please consider this offering as 104 pieces of fine silver plated flatware that includes the chest for free. According to the chest, “For over 100 years” would put them at newer than 1947. 1 large serving fork. 1 slotted serving spoon. 1 chipped beef fork. All these pieces are in better than “good” condition. There are no “mixed” pieces, they are all the same pattern. No monograms appear on any of the pieces, including the tarnish-resistant chest. They all nest and stack excellent. They polish to a high luster, though it has been a while, and they may need a small amount of polishing. The chest appears to retain the luster of the pieces very well. This is a non-smoking household, but I do have a dog, so please consider this if you have allergies. The dog however has no use for and no contact with any of these items. I will gladly send more photos if you like.
