We are pleased to offer a beautiful and rare silverplated folding fruit knife in Arcadian from 1847 Rogers Bros. The design is an ornate multi motif figural motif that was introduced in 1884. This handle has a lady figure cutting a piece of fruit. The back of the handle is embossed with flowers and leaves. It’s a beautiful example of the genre and is a rare piece. Condition: Excellent – minor use scratches but no silver wear or loss, heel wear or shadows. There are no monograms and the pattern is crisp and well defined. There is no maker’s mark.
