1847 Rogers Bros Silverplate Flatware set with Tarnish Resisting Chest from 1961 in the “Leilani” Pattern. Total of 53 pieces, most pieces have been kept in their original bags for protection. Minor surface scratches on flatware from use, some pieces could use polishing. Chest has minor scratches, a water ring on the lid from a wet glass being set on it, and the right hinge on the lid has come loose but is being held in place by the fabric liner of the lid. Chest measures 16 1/2″ W x 11″ Deep x 5 1/2 H. This set has only had one owner. Original Guarantee card with care instructions is included. Good pre-owned vintage condition. This is a fine quality Wm. Rogers MAGNOLIA/INSPIRATION Silverplate Set with 75 Pieces, Service for Eight. Manufactured by Oneida and is Circa 1951. Set includes Eight Place Settings-Dinner Knife, Dinner Fork, Salad-Desert Fork, Tablespoon and Teaspoon. Set also includes Eight each of Cocktail/Seafood Forks and Butter Spreaders. Also included are: Petite server, Sugar Shell, Pickle/Olive Fork, Relish Spoon, Sugar Spoon, Bon Bon Spoon-Solid and a Master Butter Knife. Serving Pieces include: Two Solid Serving Spoons and One Meat Fork. There is also an Ice Cube Tong-NOT in the Magnolia/Inspiration Pattern, but was included in this set. ALL pieces are clean and bright, a few pieces have minor tarnish. No plate loss on any of the pieces. Wood case is lined with a green fabric and Ivory Satin. Top of the wood box has a spot the size of a 50 cent piece that has been wiped and the finish is not smooth like the rest of the case. Items come from a Smoke and Pet Free Home.
