Silver Plate Rogers

Currently offered is this vintage Rogers Bros “Starlight” pattern reinforced silverplate silverware circa 1953. A complete 5 piece service for 8 plus a sugar spoon and butter spreader. A total of 42 pieces. This silverware has a very nice attention to detail not only on the front but the back of each piece as well. Rogers invented and patented the reinforced silverplate meaning extra silver plating was given to the areas that usually wear thin over time like the backs of the spoons and fork tines. This is high quality silverplate. Overall condition is very good with some expected light scratches from occasional use. Not worn out like most sets I see. Plenty of life left.
