Maker: International Silver Company, 1847 Rogers Pattern: Golden Argosy. Model: Set of 6 Dinner or Service Plates Era of production: 1926 NOTE: Each measures 10 1/2 inches across. Perfect for smaller antique plates. These are about the SAME SIZE as most contemporary dinner plates. Especially in GOLD Electroplate. An advertisement from October 1926 in Ladies Home Journal described them as: “A regal and stately pattern with lithe and slender lines, encased with a design of lace-like delicacy”. They were wiped down with a damp cloth and they started to shine up immediately. There are still tarnish marks that need cleaning. At least 1 plate has some very minor pitting that just may clean off with a good metal polish. Each plate has been photographed for your inspection. Fully insured with electronic tracking included.
