This is an exceptional Edwardian and very beautiful service for six of stunning knives and forks with mother of pearl handles. The set was made by 1847 Rogers Bros. The mounts of the knives and the forks are sterling silver and are marked “Sterling”. The blades of the knives have a rounded form and the forks each have four tines/prongs. These pieces are in excellent condition for their age, only slight signs of use in the way of surface scratches. Please have in mind that the defects look bigger when we used the magnifying camera lenses. The handles are glossy and were well taken care of over the years, no chips or damage. The knives are 9 1/4″ long, the forks are 8 1/4″ long. The set is in good condition without bend ends. It could have some scratches that are consistent with normal use. Please be aware that closeups exaggerate & amplify imperfections. The box shows some wear. Actual color may differ from the photo due to lighting conditions. Check out my other items.
