Silver Plate Rogers

This listing is for a wonderful Victorian Period c. Measures 10″ high and 4″ wide. Weighs 2.0 pounds. The silver plated stand is decorated with two applied textured leaves across the front and back. The stand is stamped Rogers, Smith & Co. New Haven, Conn and is in very nice condition. Unusual octagonal clear blown glass insert with engraved floral design on each panel. The glass is in excellent condition although there is one tiny nick on upper edge (see photos). No other chips, cracks or repairs. The insert fits correctly into the stand and the lid fits appropriately on the insert. Silver lid is slightly pitted below rim.
