Beautiful and hard to find American 19th Century Antique Ice Tongs in the “Persian” pattern Rogers Brothers established in 1847. The tongs are large measuring 9-1/2 in length. These tongs were not made in 1847 but rather during the latter part of the Century. This pair of tongs have markings on one of the narrow arms. It has 1847 Rogers Bros. Please, see photos to see the markings. The tongs are in excellent antique condition with normal light scuffs but no dents or nicks, no damage or repairs.
