We are pleased to offer a set of 11 handsome silverplated hollow handle dinner knives in Raja from Wm Rogers. The design is an ornate Rococo style motif; it was introduced in 1891. This pattern is seldom seen but it absolutely fabulous. These knives will provide class and elegance to any table setting – make them yours now! Condition: Excellent – no silver wear or loss, heel wear or shadows. There are no monograms and the pattern is crisp and well defined. The maker’s mark is clearly visible on all of the blades. We are pleased to offer an ornate silverplated humidor from Rogers & Smith of Meriden Conn. The Assyrian Head flatware pattern is a multi motif design that was introduced in 1886. This piece features the faces and profiles of the men and women featured on the flatware. The humidor has two compartments with screened panels that face onto a space in the middle that would have held a damp sponge to keep the tobacco moist. It sits on 4 little bun feet and may have had a cover on the center compartment at one time but is still a great find! Condition: Very good – no silver wear or loss other than a couple of nicks on the covers (see photo). There are no monograms and the pattern is crisp and well defined. It has been hand polished so there will be no surprises. Any dark spots in the photos are reflections only. It is marked: Rogers Smith & Co Meriden Conn Quadruple 26 on the bottom.
