








This is one of the earliest patterns made by Wm. Rogers in the late 1800′s featuring a detailed etched pear and leaf pattern. The silver plated set includes 5 butter knives, 5 forks, and a meat serving fork. They are inscribed on the blade as well as the handle, Wm. Rogers 1847 with the blades being stainless steel. The butter knives are 9-1/8” long with a 5/8;; blade and the forks 7-1/2” long. The knife and fork set show normal scuffs to blades with etched design still showing good detail. The two pronged meat fork has an etched design of hibiscus blossoms and a pivoting prong top which msy not be original to set. This also includes a matching steel knife sharpening rod. In good original condition.
