GRAPES WITH LEAVES AND VINES. ADDITIONAL PIECES MAY STILL BE AVAILABLE IN THIS PATTERN. BLADES MARKED “1847 ROGERS BROS”. VERY GOOD OVERALL CONDITION, ESPECIALLY GIVEN AGE. LIGHT TO MODERATE WEAR/SCRATCHES MOSTLY TO BLADES. A FEW MINOR OVERALL BLEMISHES. HEAVIER WEAR/MINOR BLACK MARKS AROUND SOME BOLSTERS/KNIFE EDGES. (1) KNIFE HAS SOME NOTICEABLE PITTING ON BLADE. For sale is a set. Of 52 Vintage “1847 Rogers Bros ADORATION Silverplate Flatware” This is what may have been a 12 piece place setting set. Now is’s clos to serving for 10. These pieces have No Monogram. Included are 10 regular forks, 8 salad forks, 10 butter knives, 10 teaspoons, 10 tablespoons, 10 knives, 2 serving spoons, 1 sugar spoon and 1 butter spreader knife. As is there are 52 pieces and the box. The box is marked 1847 Rogers. The box is in fair shape with a couple issues. It has some scratches scrapes and is missing one foot on the bottom. The silverware is in very nice shape. It could be polished up some. The writing on the silverware. This is an elegant set from the past. I think this was made around the 1920′s – 1940′s. This is a good looking art-deco style set of silverware. This is a pretty heavy set with the box. Just wait for an invoice. So, take a look at the pictures. Pics are of actual item you will receive. Wonderful 4-Piece coffee service in the “Ancestral” pattern by Rogers Brothers. Pieces are silver plate hollowware and include the following. Tray #00593, Measuring 14.5″ by 10.5″. Coffee Pot #008606, 8.5 tall. Sugar Bowl & Lid #008608, 5.25 tall. Creamer #008609, 3.125 tall. The coffee pot, sugar and creamer have a monogram to one side, the other is blank. Pieces are in great condition for their age. The platter has a lot of surface scratching where the pieces rest. The creamer and sugar have a few small dings. Please see photos for details.
