Silver Plate Rogers

This beautiful set of vintage flatware is from an estate sale and is in good condition, it could use a good cleaning/polishing. There is normal wear for its age. Please see photos for more details. First Love pattern was introduced in 1937 and discontinued in 1973. “1847 Rogers Bros IS First Love “, cocktail forks and chipped beef fork are not marked “First Love”, k. Nives are marked “stainless” on blade. All pieces have been hand-polished and are in very good estate condition, showing normal signs of use and a high shine. Carving knife and fork show a bit more use with a few nicks and scratches and sharpening marks on blade. No major dents or plate loss, and no monogram. Pattern is crisp and well defined. Salad forks – 8 cocktail forks -8 oval. 3 serving spoons – 1 serving fork – 1 gravy ladle – 1 carving fork + knife – 1 chipped beef fork. 1 master butter knife – 1 sugar spoon – 1 sugar sifter – 1 tomato server – 1 pickle fork. Chest is in very good condition as well, like new, with just a small nick on top of lid. Inside is lined with anti-tarnish Hagerty cloth and clean, no stains or musty smell. It measures 15 3/4″ x 11¼” x 3½ and weighs a little over 10 lbs (with silverware). Do not wait until the last day! EXCELLENT – New or like new condition. Few if any surface marks. VERY GOOD – The best you can expect from any used item, light surface marks and a high luster. GOOD – signs of use or age, nothing too obvious. Shows surface marks, some luster. FAIR – Noticeable wear, flaws or damage as described, very little luster. After this time I will open an Unpaid Item Case. Each piece is wrapped individually in tissue paper.
