It shows average wear with light surface scratches. This set is from my grandmother’s estate and haven’t been used in over 50 years. Overall, very nice set for those special family occasions. Also a beautiful addition for those of you who like to mix vintage with new for custom one of kind home decor. Approximate Measurements are as Follows : Height: (Top of Lid Finial to Base Edge) is 16 Inches Width: (Outer Handle Edges Across) is 10 1/2 Inches. Depth/Diameter: (Widest Mid Body) is 6 Inches Front Spigot to Body Back is 8 1/2. (Inner Warmer Ring Diameter is 3 Inches). Liquid Capacity is 1 Quart. Weight of Set is 5 Pounds 9 Ounces. Much More Beautiful than these Photos Portray! Very Good to Excellent Vintage Condition! No Corrosion/Rust or Pitting! The interior is very clean, though there is some stain to the base, though can most possibly be scrubbed away (see photo #11) with a mild abrasive cleanser (as Bon Ami). The underside of this urn has yet to be polished, as the base area that shows the marker’s. Mark in photo #9, clearly displays some of the tarnish (this area is not visible unless upended). Light scuffs all around due to use and/or storage. Fully functional, spigot handle lowers 1/2 inch to and fro to release liquid flow. A small crack to the warmer holder ring though no sign of separation or is obvious. Do not place in dishwasher! As International rates are extremely high – sorry! Offered Here is a very large vintage silverplate flatware set for 12 persons in the lovely 1950 DAFFODIL pattern by 1847 Rogers Bros. There are 83 total pieces in this set including 11 hard to find serving pieces. The set is a six piece place setting for 12 with double teaspoons for dessert and coffee and also 12 large oval soup spoons. The set has been safely stored in a very nice two tier Mahogany chest as pictured. There are no monograms or heel wear but some of the pieces have fine surface scratches from use and stacking and they might benefit from a quick polish to shine brightly. 12 Oval Soup Spoons. 1 Master Butter Knife. 1 Sugar Shell Spoon. 1 Pierced BonBon or Nut spoon. 2 Large Table Serving Spoons. 1 Casserole or Berry Spoon. 1 Cold Meat Fork. 1 Pie or Cake Server. The silver storage chest is a very nice two tier chest measuring 15 1/2″ by 11 1/2″ by 5 1/2. No chips, cracks or damage but a few very minor surface blemishes.
