I have some before and after pictures of having a polished with a tarnish remover, I don’t like the smell of it, so I did not finish polishing anything. But as you can tell from the photos it polishes up nicely. There are various different pieces, different sets and different brands. Up for sale is a beautiful, cohesive 66-piece vintage silverplated flatware service in the classic 1936 “Ivanhoe” Art Deco pattern by Wm. Rogers & Son International Silver Co. This set has been safely stored in a vintage wood flatware chest lined with tarnish-resistant red velvet fabric and includes 3M silver protector strips. The pieces show a brilliant shine with normal light surface wear/tarnish consistent with age. No damage or heavy plate loss.
