This piece features a heavy cylindrical body, ornate engraved decoration, elevated pedestal feet, and a functioning mechanical spigot. The base is clearly stamped Rogers Smith & Co. Meriden CT. Quadruple. 1971. U. The term “Quadruple Plate” indicates a thicker, higher-quality silver plating typical of premium Victorian silverplate production. Overall condition is very good pre-owned ANTIQUE condition. The vessel shows light surface wear, interior patina, and a few small, shallow dents consistent with age and historical use.
