This is an elegant, 58-piece, 1847 Rogers Bros “Ambassador” silverplate flatware set by International Silver Company, featuring a classic Art Deco design introduced around 1920. It is a full service for 8 plus 6 additional teaspoons, 3 flat-bottomed serving spoons (1 small and 2 large) and 1 butter knife. Offered “as found”-there is some tarnishing and scratches commensurate with age and use. A 1921 ad refers to the Ambassador pattern as substantial and dignified. Dinner Forks – 8.
