Rogers Mfg Co Vintage Silver Plate 5-Piece 4275 Warming Chafing Dish. From an estate collection, a five-piece vintage silver plate warming chafing dish is in impressive vintage condition. Very light scratches are on its exterior surface and inside the handled serving dish. Silver plate is missing in a spot inside the domed lid. The pieces include the base with three-prong frame (repaired to firmly attach to the base) that houses the alcohol warmer, water dish, serving dish and domed lid. Fill the burner lamp with denatured or ethyl alcohol (ethyl alcohol, ethanol or ethyl hydrate with an alcohol content of 90% or higher). Isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol with an alcohol content of 90% or higher can also be used. Fill only to the bottom of the inside thread. DO NOT USE OIL. This is not an oil burner. It measures 10″ high to top of lid’s finial, has a 10 1/4″ serving dish diameter and is 2 1/2″ deep, is 16 1/2″ from rim to end of detachable wooden handle, and the base measures 6 wide.
