Piece: Set of 6 Bread or individual Cake plates #001624 Pattern: Ancestral (These plates are Silver Plated and were made by International to coordinate with the matching Ancestral flatware in this pattern) Maker: International – 1847 Rogers Bros. Circa 1924, so nearly 100 years old. Condition: Some light surface scuffing from storage and light utensil markings from use I took photos of each close up on top centers areas. The one that had sat on top of stack all these years had some tiny pinpoint/pinhead size plate loss speckles on top. A couple others have one or two pinpoint specks. Othewise similar in condition, and no dents. A must have for the collector/owner of this pattern. Check our other listings for the bread plates from this same estate too! NOTE: We have the matching bread/individual cake plates on our other listings as well from the same estate! Size: 6 1/2 across to rounded out area edge. Used as a bread plate or in the old days a “cake” biscuit or other bread was put on it. For modern days would work for dessert plate as well.
