This lovely antique Rogers flatware set is in nice condition and comes in it’s original wooden chest. This was originally a service for 6, and most of those pieces are in pretty nice condition considering their age. I also had a few spare pieces in this pattern that I added in, and some of those are not great but would be nice to make napkin rings or something. All of the pieces have been cleaned without chemicals so you can see the condition. Most would benefit from polishing. 6 dinner/table knives (good). 6 dinner/table forks (good), +1 dinner fork (not good). 6 large oval table/soup spoons (4 good, 2 with small pits) +1 soup spoon (not good). 5 teaspoons (good), +2 teaspoons (not good). 4 orange/fruit spoons (good). 2 round bowl soup spoons (not good). 2 dessert/pastry/pie forks (good). 4 solid gravy ladles 7 1/4 (good). 2 solid sauce ladles 6 (good). 1 sugar spoon (good). 1 medium solid cold meat fork 8 1/2 (good). 1 large cold meat fork/maybe vegetable serving fork? 1 solid berry/casserole spoon 8 1/2 (good). The chest is also in ok-ish condition. Still very solid and functioning, could stand to be refinished as the wood looks to be quality. The fabric linings are thin and slightly stained and not completely attached. These chest usually come with wood pieces that hold the flatware in place but this chest doesn’t have those.
